Purva Gangakhedkar
Purva Gangakhedkar is shishya of Guru Kalashiromani Smt. Meera Chandrasekaran. She started learning the art of Bharatanatyam from the age of 5 years. Purva performed her Arangetram on 25th December, 2008. She has a distinction in Bharatanatyam visharad and has topped Trichi University in diploma of Bharatanatyam. She has completed her Master's in Bharatanatyam from Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune. She has received the title of "Nrityavibhushan" for the performance in a dance festival organised by ANASS at Goa. She has received the 'Nrityavishkar Award' for best choreography in Nrityasanskruti dance festival organised by ANASS in nagpur. Bharatanatyam being her forte she is also experienced in teaching folk and semi-classical dance styles. She is a state level garba competition winner and has been invited as a judge in many schools and competitions. Other than this, she has choreographed dances and dramas for many school gatherings and other events. Purva has also performed on various platforms, temples and shows. Academically, Purva is a fine arts graduate and is working as a creative designer currently.
Vaishnavi Joshi
Vaishnavi Joshi is a dedicated artist who has been learning Bharathanatyam since the age of five from Guru Kalashiromani Smt. Meera Chandrasekaran. Vaishnavi performed her Arangetram on March 21st, 2013, and has been performing and teaching since then. She has a distinction in Bharatanatyam Vishaarad. Apart from proving her forte in Bharathanatyam in many esteemed events, she has also performed for SCZCC, Nagpur, and temple sabhas in Chennai. She is also a trained Kuchipudi dancer. Vaishnavi is a recipient of the Hemalata Natarajan Award for excellence in classical dance and has been part of various dance competitions and performances. She holds a bachelors’ degree in Engineering and currently works as a Security Operations Engineer at Microsoft, Hyderabad.
